Beautiful. Strange. Unexpected.

Naughty Boys is an AI-powered film production, animation, and advertising studio built for ideas that refuse to behave.

We come from film. From VFX. From animation. From years of making impossible things look real — and real things feel impossible.

But the industry is changing.
So are we.

We use AI as a new creative language, not a shortcut. We combine it with filmmaking, design, VFX, animation, art direction, and a healthy disregard for the usual way of doing things.

We believe the best work usually starts with a bad idea.

Too weird. Too ambitious. Too expensive. Too impossible.

Good.

That’s where we come in.

From a blank page to a finished frame, we build worlds, characters, films, campaigns, and visual experiences that don’t just fit the brief — they make the brief question itself.

We’re here to make beautiful things.
Strange things.
Unexpected things.

The founders

From film. From VFX. From animation.

Mohamed El-Kady

Co-Founder & AI Director

Mohamed El-Kady is a director, art director and VFX specialist, and one of the leading names in visual storytelling across the Arab world.

A graduate of the Faculty of Applied Arts, he went on to study directing and art direction, blending a fine artist's eye with a filmmaker's language from the very start. Over 16 years in visual effects, he founded GEMINI, which has grown into one of the largest VFX studios in the Arab world, with work delivered for clients in Europe and Canada.

His work has earned multiple awards in directing, art direction and VFX, recognized for pairing technical precision with bold visual vision.

As generative AI reshaped the industry, El-Kady brought his deep VFX background into this new frontier. Today he serves as AI Director at Naughty Boys, one of the region's largest creative AI companies, partnering with the biggest advertising brands in the Arab world. There, he leads commercials, films and visual content through a hybrid approach that merges VFX craft and cinematic direction with cutting-edge image and video generation.

For El-Kady, AI is a tool, not the filmmaker. The real difference lies in the director's eye, and in knowing how an image is built from the first frame to the final shot.

Ahmed ElHabashy

Co-Founder & AI Art Director

Ahmed ElHabashy is Head of Art and Founding Partner at GEMINI, one of the largest VFX studios in the Arab world, specializing in art direction, CGI, VFX and visual storytelling, with work delivered in Europe and Canada.

A graduate of the Academy of Arts, School of Cinema and Television, where he specialized in Film Directing, Ahmed brings a filmmaker's mindset to every image, seeing each frame as part of a larger world, mood or story. He built his advertising career as an Art Director at DDB and later Leo Burnett, working on campaigns for major local and international brands.

Driven to build complete visual worlds, he expanded into CGI, VFX, photography, retouching, illustration, typography, calligraphy and directing, before co-founding GEMINI with his partner Mohamed El-Kady on the belief that every idea deserves its own visual language. For Ahmed, style is never a surface choice; it grows naturally from the idea, the insight and the story.

Today, he is also Co-Founder and AI Art Director at Naughty Boys, one of the largest AI companies in the Arab world, where he brings his art direction and cinematic craft to AI-powered visual production for the region's leading advertising brands.

Beyond his commercial work, he maintains a personal practice in illustration, poster design and calligraphy, reinterpreting Egyptian culture through contemporary, comic-inspired graphic styles. His artwork has been exhibited in Egypt and internationally, and his work has earned awards and honorable mentions at recognized creative and advertising festivals.

Whatever the project, he pursues the same goal: a visual idea that feels both unexpected and inevitable.

Mohamed El-Naggar

Co-Founder & AI Animation Director

Mohamed El-Naggar is an animation director and educator, and one of the Arab world's leading specialists in character motion and performance.

A graduate of the Faculty of Applied Arts, he went on to specialize in animation at AnimSchool, refining his craft in movement, timing and performance. His work has earned multiple international animation awards, recognized for motion that feels alive and performances that give characters a genuine soul.

El-Naggar served as an Animation Supervisor in the VFX industry, leading teams on projects that demanded precision in motion, timing and weight. Alongside his professional career, he teaches animation at several universities, where he has mentored generations of students now building careers of their own across the industry.

Today he is CEO of Naughty Boys and its AI Animation Director, overseeing motion, acting and body mechanics across films, commercials and music videos. He leads the company's vision of merging CGI and VFX with AI, delivering work that combines the freedom of new tools with the discipline of classical craft.

For El-Naggar, AI can generate an image, but believable motion and a performance the audience truly buys still come from a deep understanding of the body, rhythm and emotion. That understanding has defined his entire career, as an artist and as a teacher.

David Youssef

Co-Founder & Executive Producer

Creative mind. Professional troublemaker.

With over a decade in the world of film, VFX, CGI, animation, and visual storytelling, David has built his career across Egypt, the Gulf, and Europe, working on projects that push the boundaries of what can be created on screen.

Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the biggest production houses in Egypt and the Gulf, taking on everything from large-scale commercial productions to ambitious visual effects and animation projects. His experience sits at the intersection of production and creativity — bringing together storytelling, VFX, CGI, animation, art direction, and emerging technology to turn ambitious ideas into work that demands attention.

His work has also earned international recognition and awards in CGI, proving that great visual storytelling doesn't need to come from the usual places.

But for David, the goal has never been simply to make something technically impressive. The real challenge is making something people remember.

He's spent years learning how productions work, where they break, what makes an idea work, and — more importantly — what makes an idea worth making in the first place.

Now, as Executive Producer of Naughty Boys, he's here to do what he does best: challenge the obvious, break the routine, question the rules, and turn bold ideas into unforgettable work.

Because the industry doesn't need another company doing things the way they've always been done.

It needs people willing to mess with the formula.
